The pageant was cancelled due to a hurricane which swept through the islands.  On September 21, the organizers contacted the Miss World organization with the information that Brianna Clarke was hand-picked to represent the Bahamas.

2005: Ordain Moss

2005 October 11
The newly-established Miss Bahamas Organisation (MBO) acquired the Miss World licence in September, 2005.  It was too late to organize a pageant, so a private screening was held, and Ordain Moss was announced as the winner. She resigned her title in early 2006.
