Egypt a few months later, to attend a festival by which the United Arab
Republic tried to attract world-wide attention on the problem to save the
temples of Abu Simbel from the rising Nile River. Here they are at the Sphinx. Miss Iceland is
8th from left, Spain 10th & Finland 11th. The rest are not identified.
Originally, Misses Belgium, England, Holland & Luxembourg declined the
invitation to go to Egypt, but one of them apparently changed her mind.
